As American as... Blueberry Pie
Pie has always been my favorite party dessert of choice. In my opinion there are very few things better than that array of sweet pies on the counter after a thanksgiving dinner. Blueberry is my favorite, It conjures up memories of picking berries in my grandparents blueberry patch and bringing them back to the house for my mom and grandma to whip up into a delicious pie. It is amazing how flavors and smells can bring back so many pure simple memories. In the eyes of Proust, Blueberry pie is my Madeline cookie.
